この度、ZETA DIVISIONは大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ部門を設立し同部門に、あcola, Tea, Gacktの3名が加入することを発表いたします。
ZETA DIVISION is pleased to announce the establishment of the Super Smash Bros. team and welcome Acola, Tea, and Gackt to the team.

【ZETA DIVISION 大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ部門設立について】

「大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ」は1999年に初代がリリースされて以来、大人から子供まで幅広い年代のプレイヤーに「スマブラ」の愛称で親しまれてきました。最新作となる「大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ SPECIAL」はリリースから約4年の月日が経ちますが、人気は衰えることを知らず日本を代表するタイトルとして知られています。

同タイトルの人気は世界的にも非常に高く、新たなキャラクターが登場(ゲーム内に追加される)する際には、多くのプレイヤーの注目を集め、世界中に大きな話題を呼んでいます。

そして、同タイトルの競技シーンにも多くのプレイヤーが集まり、大きな盛り上がりを見せています。国内のコミュニティ大会は年に数百回開催され、中でも大型大会である「篝火#8」の決勝戦では7万人を越える同時接続者を集めました。

海外の競技シーンにおいても日本同様に熱を帯びた盛り上がりを見せており、一年を通して様々な規模での大会が数多く開催されています。その中でも日本人選手は多くの大会で健闘し、優秀な戦績を残しています。

そこで、世界へ挑み続ける才能豊かな日本人選手たちをサポートし世界での飛躍を後押しするため、ひいては世界の「スマブラ」コミュニティを更に盛り上げるべく、ZETA DIVISIONとして大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ部門の設立に至りました。

【Establishment of ZETA DIVISION SUPER SMASH BROS.】

Since the first “Super Smash Bros.” title was released in 1999, players of all ages, from children to adults, “SSB.” is a household name. The latest title, “Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL,” released almost four years ago, its popularity has not waned, and it is known as one of the most popular titles in Japan.

The title’s popularity is extremely high worldwide, and whenever a new character is introduced, it attracts the attention of many players and creates a huge buzz around the world.

And the title’s competitive scene also attracts a large number of players, creating a great deal of excitement. Hundreds of community tournaments are held in Japan each year, and the final game of “KAGARIBI #8,” a large-scale unofficial tournament, attracted more than 70,000 live viewers.

The international competitive scene is just as heated and exciting as the Japanese scene, with numerous tournaments held throughout the year on a variety of scales. Among them, Japanese players are doing well in many competitions and have achieved excellent results.

In order to support these talented Japanese players who continue to challenge the world and make great strides on the global stage, and by extension, further enliven the global “Smash Bros.” community, we have decided to establish the Super Smash Bros. team.

ZETA DIVISION あcola

彗星の如く現れた若き超新星、たった数ヶ月で国内の大型大会を制覇した誰もが認める国内最高プレイヤー。全てのプレイスキルが一級品であり、密着状態での読み合いの強さや、勝負どころを逃さない嗅覚も群を抜いている。
また、2本先取された後に逆転勝利を収める逆境での精神面の強さも、彼を日本最強たらしめる理由の一つである。

A young superstar appeared out of the blue, now recognized as the best Japanese player, conquering all the domestic major competitions in just a few months. He’s known for his first-class playing skills in all of his plays. Extremely talented in close quarter fights and has an excellent sense of smell to close out the game. Also known for his mental strength, coming back after being down two games.

世界最強の“てぃー”パックマン。彼の唯一無二の強さはなんと言っても高い基礎能力に裏打ちされたトリッキーなプレイと緩急のある攻めである。長年使用しているパックマンから繰り出される数多くの連携技はまさに職人芸であり、パックマンの潜在能力を最大限に引き出している。

カメラの向こうの視聴者にもリアクションを忘れないエンターテイナーとしての面も持ち合わせており、プレイスキルと相まって多くのファンを魅了する。

The world’s strongest Pac-man player. His one of a kind strength lies in his tricky play and his unreadable attacks, based on his high basic skills. The many coordinated moves he performs with Pac-man, which he has used for many years, are truly a work of art, and he draws out the full potential of Pac-man.

He never forgets to entertain the audience behind the camera and combined with his playing skills, he attracts many fans.

誰もが認める名実ともに世界最強のネス使い。ネス使いと言えば彼の名前が決まって挙がるほどネスを愛用し続けている。ネスならではの動きを取り入れたトリッキーな立ち回りはまさにネスマイスター。

前陣速攻型のプレイスタイルが彼の強みであり、斬新的な立ち回りで時に会場を湧き上がらせる。また、配信活動や動画投稿にも力を入れており、癖になる独特の人柄や軽快なトークで多くのファンを魅了している。
